Spring = Softball Season
The weather here in Cincinnati has been gorgeous this last week. We have been breaking record temperatures in the low 80′s and I’m so ready for April to get here!
This year I’m playing softball on Tuesday and Thursday nights and we have the same Tuesday night team, and our Thursday night team is about half of our Tuesday night team. I’m really happy with the group of guys I have and I think we’ll do really well in both leagues.
We also got another sponsor this year for Tuesday’s so I had to update the logo and get new shirts for the team. I ended up going with a new vendor this year and we are going with Holloway COMMIT shirts that work really well with our logo:
Can’t wait for the Hunger Games movie tomorrow night, and then the 2nd week of April can get here!

What I’m Reading
Allison got me started on a new book series:
I’m not much of a reader, I need to try harder honestly because I’ll give up if the book doesn’t grab my attention in the first few chapters. But I would like to read more as it’s a good outlet away from the computer that I spend way to much time at!
So I started the first book of the series yesterday by Suzanne Collins called “Hunger Games” and finished it in one day. It was an easy read, a little slow at first with all the back story, but you need it when you get to the guts of the book.
Once they reached the actual hunger games, I couldn’t put the book down!
So now it’s on the the second of the three books, and then once we finish the series, we’ll see the movie that comes out in March. I’m excited to start the second book tonight, and since I have plenty of time on my plane ride to Breckenridge this week, I’m sure I’ll finish it, and probably get started on the third by the time I get home Sunday night.
